It's Pronounced DEETSSince I'm registered unaffiliated, the NC GOP sees fit to send me all their direct mailers. And I've noticed something interesting this year. A couple months ago I was getting a lot of mailers attacking Josh Stein and that were focusing on the governor's race. I haven't seen any of those in a while. But what I have seen is that all of the mailers are focusing on the presidential race. What this says to me is that 1) the state GOP has given up on the governor race. They know it's a lost cause and they aren't going to put much support into it; but more importantly 2) they are worried about whether Trump will carry North Carolina like he did the previous two elections. If Harris wins NC she wins the presidency.
