Why I dislike podcasts
I learned #English as a 2nd language. My Japanese kindergarten teacher taught me English by reading in the library. By 1st grade, I had read everything available and started reading above my grade level. By 3rd grade, Chieko-san had run out of books in the library. To this day, I still learn better by reading and seeing the words. Podcasts are too ephemeral for me to follow or make sense of. I'm looking at you, #NPR, #VOA and #The_Guardian.
