In the 1989-90 season, the Denver Children's Hospital released a set of Nuggets trading cards. On the front, each had the standard photo of a player. The backs were different, adorned with safety tips such as Bill Hanzlik's "Never put poison in your mouth. And if you see someone put poison in their mouth, you should get help right away." The set is one of many that were made during the 1970s, '80s and '90s, with messages about stranger danger, drugs, gangs and jaywalking. Defector's Dan McQuade took a closer look at some of the best examples, and talked to Hanzlik about his wise words. "I was a master of the obvious," Hanzlik says. "But it is good advice!"
