Well, this is wonky and imperfect, but it's sturdy and will probably work better than the wall-planters I bought, and because it's Hessian, I didn't have to waste spoons on trying to make it perfect.

That's one item off the list.

All that's left is my car, my taxes, and my country.

So, whenever possible, I stick to household solutions to remove rust -- lemon juice, baking soda, vinegar -- and a lot of elbow grease. As for rust-proofing the objects afterwards? That can be a bit problematic, since it seems most rust-preventing paints for metal contain PFAS (I'm looking into alternatives. Linseed oil paint might be good for metal). Mineral spirits and paraffin wax are another way to rust-proof metal, but both are petroleum products. Limonene and beeswax might be a petroleum-free way to rust-proof metal, but I haven't tried it yet (though I have both on hand). Feel free to chime in with suggestions!

My quadriplegic cousin in his nursing home, they use a goose-neck mounted sip and puff tube he blows into to activate his call light. Trouble is, his anti bed-sore mattress keeps inflating and deflating so the end of the hose ends up in his cheek, forehead, or eye!

Just finished designing, and I'll build it up in the next couple of weeks, an interface that will activate the call light using his cell phone, which is completely voice controlled.

Next project I've been doing quietly in the background... Custom designing Gridfinity storage and such for the PaintPal system.

Still a lot of organizing to go, but finally have enough shelving to hold things in a handy place. Where the minis temporarily are is to hold paints I am using while painting instead of all over the desk.

I may print the back extensions so I can go 4x5 deep for paint brushes organizers and such.
