Currently, all translated work is stopped except Cor van de Sande is still making #Quebecois versions of every new comic of mine that he can get his hands on, and it would not be a huge task to replace his lettering on recent Rogues of Clwyd-Rhan pages with my own, but it would leave a big gap in the archives that I'd have to fill later.

Here's his French (QU) translation of Tess Durban: tessdurban-qu.cfw.me

#Corridor - Mimi

#Montreal based post punk art rockers took a turn more experimental and #psychedelic with their 4th album and I'm 💯 here for it. Absolutely the right vibe for tonight, plus the cover art (illustration of a derpy longhaired cat?). Every song is doing something different, doing it well, and in a good way.

#Stereolab x #deerhunter vibes? Immediate purchase.

@politipet

Oui.

⬆️ @cube_drone Yours is the most cool-headed & cogent discussion I've seen from anybody on this topic. Thanks.

You make a detailed case for what could happen if the shoe were on the other foot, and it makes sense, including potential for racism & bigotry.

The piece that's missing is the #Canada and #India have a mutual #extradition treaty. If either is aggrieved (#Khalistan #secessionists operating from #Canadian soil or #Quebecois or #WildRose operating from #Indian soil), there is a process

Glasgow Review of Books · STRETCHING THE TONGUE: On Michel Tremblay's Plays in Scots (trans. by Bill Findlay & Martin Bowman) - Glasgow Review of BooksBy Josephine Murray

📺 VU: 1995 de Ricardo Trogi

“It is one thing to capture the line-by-line meaning of a play, and another to convey a sense of the social milieu and a language’s cultural status. […] Somehow hearing the play in Scots gave Anglophone audiences an insight into Tremblay that had hitherto eluded them.”
