Hello, and welcome to #MakersHour.

Five questions will be presented at 12 minute intervals between 8pm and 9pm on Thursday evenings each week, UK time.
It us a great opportunity for sharing and discussion with ither makers and creative folks, even if you don't wish to respond to the questions set.

The questions will be listed in advance each morning from Monday to Thursday at 10am UK time for advanced consideration and preparation.

Modified from a design on bracelet book.com. (Those patterns are charted on a square grid, so end up stretched when transferred directly to a loom.) Final pic is the complete piece. Love how it turned out! Meant to try a border of strung beads but forgot, whoops. Next time.
Used nymo thread, which seems like it’s harder for me to keep even tension with? Will try Fire Line next time to compare.

Seed beads strung up on warp threads still taught on the loom. Only a small border design and one iteration of a three colored spiral has been completed. A hand is under the band for scale, the band is about two fingers wide.
The same beadwork but now the pattern is almost complete. The three colored spiral was repeated three times and the border on the end has been started.
The same pattern, complete and cut off the loom! The edges are a little uneven now that the warp isn’t under tension. On either end is an off color row of beads that will eventually be covered by a metal end bar.

New fabric coming in means I need to get rid of old fabric. There's a creative reuse store in town that takes craft supply donations. I'll be dropping off these 2 bags of fabric for them to resell. We've got several larger pieces of cotton (sheet-sized), a number of smaller shiny or decorative fabrics, several bags of leather scraps, and a bag of wool scraps. Plus a book on making costume armor.

2 full bags of fabric. One has a bunch of rolls sticking up, shiny red, shiny blue, heavy weave orange, and a bag labeled "wool scraps". The other has white cotton folded on top. A piece of blue flower print can be seen beneath it.
