Mr. Orange and his #tariffs have had a huge effect on stock markets and so on my "voluntary #pension #savings". He is a living and walking chaos. I have invested for 20 years and the #loss has been -7 % in one week. They should grow, not go down. 🫣🙄🥺 I've been told that I'm still young and things will change. I don't invest by myself. My bank does that on behalf of me. In #finland we have this kind of service. #annoying #suomimastodon #politics #usa #lifemustgoon

It's not business as usual. We're witnessing extreme (and needless) market turmoil. If you ever feel bad about making a mistake: rest easy, you haven't lost the stock market $5 trillion in a couple of days.

My pension pot is pretty small. Don't want to lose much more, thanks. (No, it's not just US citizens' pensions getting pulverised at the moment.)

The only good thing: I'm not close to retiring, so I can wait for things to settle and improve. Colleagues closer to retirement age will be affected more.

And, yes, some people are profiting from this. It's just not the average citizen, sadly.

Really hope the EU and the UK will get their act together and not give in. Fingers crossed. 🤞

C'est bien entendu à moi de prouver que je ne reçois pas la PA, pas à lui de prouver qu'il l'a bien versée. Si vous cherchiez un moyen d'expliquer la notion de #chargementale ...
La #CAF, faut pas hésiter à réfléchir à cesser de faire porter la charge au parent qui est lésé (souvent une ♀️).
