Yesterday, #DonaldJTrump ordered that coal-fired power plants be exempt from a 2024 USEPA rule on toxic #EmissionsStandards that is going to come into effect in 2027.
The purported basis for this is that the rule requires "emissions-control technologies that do not yet exist".
The introduction page of the rule in contrast states that it is based upon an "assessment of available control technologies".
