If you look at mainstream media in Canada right now - the vast majority seems to just accept and normalize every fucking wild-ass thing that the UCP and Danielle Smith does. Why? Because they are all complicit and want #Alberta to become the US.

Today they announced privatized surgeries and more "independent" policing.

Fuck this. This province is fucked up. No one is fighting anymore. I need to get out.

With months of more or less cold weather and snow on the ground, and the path from her porch being snow, ice, water, mud, at various times/combinations, Pearly hasn't been outside much. On milder days she has sat on the porch, and a few times has ventured just below, but no 'excursions'.

Friday was mild- at least 10C/50F in the afternoon, warmer in sunny sheltered spots like this, so Pearly took the opportunity to come over to where I was storing firewood and rolled and kneaded in the warm dry grass. A chonky senior tuxedo cat- black uppers, white bib, belly, whiskers and feet sits on the ground in a sunny patch (some tree shadows farther away) which is low cut dry grass with scattered spruce cones, twigs etc, some areas of taller dry grass in the background. First of all the EU prohibits the use of substances having a hormonal action for growth promotion in farm animals! In other words they think USA Beef is crap. Secondly no one produces a better steak than the Florentines: La Fiorentina!

And Organic Grass Fed Alberta Beef and Bison are world class! And under Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) these are exported to Europe! EU knows quality!
