I am quite sick of facing constant accusations of using AI in my work just because I often change styles.

To non-artists: this is not helping in the slightest, harassing people who actually pick up a pencil because of your agenda and paranoia doesn't do anything but discourage people from doing what they love to do. And it certainly doesn't affect the actual culprits (AI 'artists' whose only effort was a prompt in a lie generator)

I am one of the many people who have went broke the moment this shit has released to public, I hate AI as much as you all do, but this isn't helping anyone.

I made a timelapse and a test drawing, but do not expect me to post timelapses with my art. This process takes extra computing power, and while some of you may be privileged enough to have a powerful enough PC, I do not. (and simply I just forget about this option in the software. ridiculous you expect me to have an entire screen recording suite ready whenever i draw)

I also want to mention that if you harass me and falsely accuse of using AI I will blacklist you from ever commissioning me.

i'm alex, i'm a kitty ​:neocat:​ who moved from poland to netherlands (living in Utrecht as of now) in september 2024 kind of by force

i speak polish and english, as well as trying to learn dutch (with little to no results though)

at the time of writing this i am no longer a neet woohoo ​:jamming:​ i got a job

i usually draw things in my free time or endlessly scroll the internet for no reason. i collect plushies and keep them on my desk, as well as collect pokemon TCG cards.

i also gamed a lot, but nowadays i am trying to find motivation to boot up something else than osu from time to time

if i get the inspiration i work on static websites, most notably my personal site, dokokashira.nl (that needs to be updated asap because of how many outdated things there are

still morphing and trying to discover myself now that i have a proper environment to do so

i'm a trans gay guy and started my HRT on february 8 2025 ​:neocat_floof:​

Today marks the one year anniversary of the start of my drawing quest. This time last year I hastily scribbled a few faces on a sheet of paper. I am really proud of how far I have come this year.

This avatar was originally designed by my friend @LianSirenia@kitsunes.club who put it together for my YouTube channel. At the time Lian didn't know, but I was so inspired by her art I dreamed to learn myself. That is why I scribbled those faces on the paper.

Not only has Lian inspired me to draw but she made this "Digital Explorer" avatar which helped me grow my channel to over 1000 subs. I told her when I came out has trans that I felt so heartbroken that I wouldn't get to use her avatar she worked so hard on for me. I loved it so much because Lian made it for me and I was able to do so much with it.

I dedicate this drawing to you Lian. You have always been a true friend and a wonderful mentor to me in so many capacities. I hope you take as much pride in this drawing as I have put into it because I wouldn't have ever been able to get this far if it wasn't for you~ Thank you from the bottom of my heart~ ​:rain_trans_heart:​

first solid thing coming out of the aforementioned pokemon project stuff, clearly not in order as this is one of the Elite 4 members

monty is a poison-type trainer with love for snakes which has started ever since he got a pet Ekans as a teenager, which he carries now on one of his arms (the other is a plushie!) - and never evolved it since it wasn't trained for battles

according to my internal memos he's played part in the region-wide pokemon storage system, but not as much as another (not revealed yet but soon) character

i am alex, i'm a trans guy who recently fled to the netherlands from a terrifying environment.

i am the infamous nederboo of the fedi, but if you happen to not know me at all then here's my informal resume:

- i do art stuff that i post on @narretje; and i do commissions if you are interested. usually i just draw whatever i like instead of trying to chase trends

- i do vidya games, mostly on my 3DS but also happen to play on a friend's switch. i am very normal about nintendo stuffs and pokemon games by the way. i have very normal opinions on things regarding that

- i run this instance (nederland.gay) which has open registrations. it's tiny in here but i hope this place will grow one day

- yes, the part of me living in netherlands is no longer a joke. it is real and i am physically among the funny people. though at the time of writing this it's been a mere week since i fled here hi.

- i know 3 languages: polish (my native language), english (second language) and dutch (newest addition and still very barebones); now guess which place did i flee.

- i am autistic, mentally ill (yes, i am normal about mad pride) and also have a hearing impairment that makes me wear a hearing aid a lot of the time. at the time of writing i am also non-to-vaguely verbal (unless you speak polish to me), so i use a text-to-speech in order to communicate or relay via my friend. i am not accepting of medical/academic approaches to issues surrounding disability, i wish more room was given to raw and unfiltered testimonies of actual disabled people who aren't residing in their ivory towers of doctorates. last thing you want to do is to argue with me on that. i also often may talk about my disabled life and accessibility. i'm open to questions but these will be answered from my perspective. if you know one disabled person then you know one disabled person.

- i am queer and opinionated, and you will not like my opinions probably. unless you are normal about trans men, that is.

hi, i'm alex, an east european ghost haunting the lands of nether and i run this place. fairly sure some of you already know me on fedi, but if not then keep reading

i'm a trans guy on the internet. i am often described as a devil's advocate or a contrarian because i tend to defy people's expectations and views of reality.

i don't take academia kindly and i believe it makes you out of touch with reality, the "low classes" so to say. my rough and terrible life circumstances molded me into who i am today (and i'm not entirely saying it's good, i carry a lot of trauma with me that possibly will never heal) and i believe it's rarely possible to fully comprehend one's suffering without going through a similar thing

i am also shamelessly gay on main and not afraid to admit to liking men, after all it's the most masculine thing one may like. if i don't yearn for men then the world has fallen apart

i also make art! due to my life circumstances and disability that was my source of income (but more often than not i wasn't earning enough to cover even basic cost of life) - and i honestly wish i could live without worrying for survival and funds to just devote myself to drawing i swear!! with that being said if you're a big fan of generative AI you can frankly fuck off because you are not welcome here

i also run a website at hofnarretje.eu where i post my art mostly. i have a guestbook, be my guest to sign it!!

i take interest in mental health strictly from mad perspectives. i think mad pride deserves more attention than it gets and that sanism is a hugely accepted form of ableism that not many take seriously.

at the time of writing i'm still not there but i look forward to starting a new life in the netherlands, given that i've already been autistic over this place and started learning the language..yeah!! i hope it goes well!!

there’s been a story/game idea that ive been cooking up for a bit so im gonna drop the 2 main characters here

arjen, the hero of ages - a somewhat reckless adventurer that is keen on travelling around the world. he has been trained in swordfight since early teens, but later moved on to training for an actual aerial sailor (so just someone using an airship. you know, a ship that’s flying). after the training he has received a custom airship that he uses as one of his transport methods.
arjen, while being a decent fighter and having all the courage an adventurer needs, can be a bit airheaded and doesn’t always think his plans through. but he’s a smart boy.

yemi, earth’s oracle - arjen’s best friend, with whom she grew up almost her entire life. having seen her family and friends struggle in wars and losing lives, she decided to dedicate her life to studying world cultures and the knowledge passed down to her from her ancestors; in hope that one day her work will help bring conflicted nations together, as a child, seeing arjen’s interest in combat, she wanted to be like him, but going into the field of archery.
yemi is the opposite of arjen; she is reserved and thinks through everything, taking her time to make the next step, which is also why she tends to get in less trouble than him - but that doesn’t make her “just a sidekick” or an assistant to arjen. given that she’s one of the last scholars in her home nation that’s alive, she has been dubbed as the oracle and a lot of people seek wisdom from her on various topics.

i maybe will share more about the general lore, i hope you like the charas tho
