Altered Book - Last page!
That's it for this book, I have found a new book to work on but I have not started it yet. I am finishing a project called #myillustratedlife set up by #dannygregory.
I have loved doing an altered book, it is very liberating to deal with a page that already has stuff on it.

I fussed, fretted, and neglected my #AlteredBook project, until I lost track of what I posted and where the book ended up in my pile of projects, work materials, and should be trashed or used piles. 😱 Eventually found the book, sorted out what had not been yet posted, and completed the interior of the book – still pondering what to do with the cover (give me a few more days/months, I’ll get there eventually). Will now be able to get the rest of the interior posted, at least. 😂

Blackout Poem:

a moment   looked into  eyes and

said softly, " No, you."

drew back harm and flung the pear

with

winking and glimmering   setting

in

time.

the lovely green water

dropped to   the bottom 

waving branches

beckoned to the lights

on face

green and lovely

among

fern-like plants.

Of Bookish Things

As mentioned in my intro, I've acquired too much material for my #ScannedCollages. I'm branching out with #AlteredBook #AsemblageArt. #Collage #CollageArt #Assemblage #Books #AlteredBookArt My first attempt at this goal has begun, and is definitely #WIP. :dy18:
To begin with, I dove in head first, doing it my way (without tutorial instructions) - so it is definitely wrong & messy. 😂 The rough, messy look actually works (what else am I going to say?) with my #Dadaist style & #Asemic content. So far, it does not have that polished artistic antique Victoriana quality that seem to be typical of many of the examples I found.
I've incorporated #AsemicWriting, #AsemicPoetry, #DadaistPoetry #ErasurePoetry, #ProsePoetry & #CollagePoetry. I have kept the #Book's original #BlackandWhite #Illustrations.

#Intro #Introduction Well, here I am posting about #BookishThings. I joined a #Mastodon instance back in April of last year, when the threat of Muskification of Bird began looming on the horizon. By January of this year, I began thinking about the overabundance of material-topics I had for potential posting.
Three projects also came to mind. 1) A #TarotCard layout based on #Narrative #PlotLine. I've explored this idea using the #CelticCrossLayout, and will try to take it a bit further.
