Die beste Filmpromo seit langem die ich auf Youtube gesehen habe. Wollen wir hoffen das der Film ähnlich gut wird. Nach den ganzen Enttäuschungen der letzten Zeit mit #Schneewitchen #Minecraft #Section31 #Electricstate und dutzender anderer Schrottfilme hätten wir echt mal wieder gute Unterhaltung verdient. Hoffentlich kann #TheAmateur die liefern.

What the heck is that? I watched Section 31 today and still don't know whether to laugh or cry. What happened to the Star Trek feeling? This is pure trash. I think it's bringing tears to @georgetakei 's eyes. I'm just still in shock. Really unbelievably bad from my point of view, not just from a Trekie point of view.

This movie is Fine. It's perfectly Fine. As long as you can almost completely ignore that it is Star Trek (this is VERY easy).

It's like a live action Rick and Morty episode, one of the big-bitch big-budget episodes you know the ones. Hell it's basically the heist episode with less meta.

Hated Philippa Georgiou, hated the whole series of Picard, did enjoy Discovery a lot, though much more starting in S2 and beyond

I was looking forward to this. Saw it last week and it was so disappointing.

Yeoh's character is great because of snark, malevolence and plots. Deliciously wicked. Here, they turn her into a watered-down action figure (she's small and 60!). Bleh. So-so plot. Destroyed her character vibe. Epic fail.

Finally got around watching Section 31 and wow it's bad. Like bad on so many levels. It's not a good action movie even, it's like a Guardians of the Galaxy ripoff (maybe? Only watched one movie with half an eye once). But that doesn't make it a bad Start Trek movie - which it is on all other levels.
Like the entire plot and cast is so soulless and has no connection to any Trek, even Michelle Yeoh cannot save it. MICHELLE F'ING YEOH!! #StarTrek #section31

Star Trek: Section 31 (2025) is not Star Trek, take away "Star Trek" from the title and it would be a generic sci-fi movie on the SyFy channel.

Sadly, the optimism of Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek is no where to be found in this boring movie.

The action is a muddled mess of shaky cam and extreme close ups. There is a train chase that I could not follow because of this.

Okay, decided to slip Section 31 in here, between DS9 S3 and Generations, since it premiered after we'd already passed its point in the timeline. Y'all. Y'all. Everyone who says how bad it is? Seriously understated it. So bad. So very bad.

I have watched ten minutes of #section31 and I have several nits to pick.

I will file them to the back of my mind and I insist on enjoying the movie.

I did it.
For the first time ever, I switched off a Star Trek production half way through because it was so bad, I was embarrassed for them.
#section31 is without a doubt, the worst Star Trek production I have ever seen. Rotten casting, awful dialogue, and an infantile story. They have absolutely ruined #StarTrek by producing something so bad, some fan made productions outclass it by a mile. Someone please throw Alex Kurtzman out an airlock.

"This film, and I'm sorry to say it … it wasn't made for people that love Star Trek. It was made to make people want to learn more about Star Trek."

I think this #TrekCulture interview with Rob Kazinsky, who plays Zeph and is a huge Trek nerd, is absolutely essential for anyone criticizing #Section31. (At least the first half of it. The second half has interesting thoughts about representation of physical disabilities in Star Trek.)
